What I am trying to make clear is that if in a city we had six vacant lots available to the youngsters of a certain neighborhood for playing ball, it might be ‘development’ to build houses on the first, and the second, and the third, and the fourth, and even on the fifth, but when we build houses on the last one, we forget what houses are for. The sixth house would not be development at all, but rather … stupidity.
As Maura and I build We Found Adventure I’ve found sharing something that I’ve poured so much time and effort into with my spouse has been amazing. I’m learning more about how she thinks and what her strengths are. To see another couple coming together to share their passion of rock climbing is pretty amazing, too. Maura and I get out and climb together regularly but I can’t say we’ve done anything nearly as intense as any of the 50 classic climbs together.
